Benfica Deny Talks Are Underway With Chelsea Over The Sale Of David Luiz

David Luiz will not leave for Chelsea.
Benfica have denied that they are in talks with Premier League champions Chelsea over the transfer of defender David Luiz.
The Portuguese champions have issued a statement dismissing reports published in the British press that the club are in negotiations with Chelsea over the sale of the 23-year-old Brazil international.
The highly rated defender is on the radar of the English giants who are eager to add a centre-back to their squad in January.
However, Benfica have denied reports suggesting Luiz will move to London and a statement on the club's official website read:
"Sport Lisboa e Benfica want to clarify that there are no negotiations with Chelsea or any other club regarding the transfer of player David Luiz and that the news published today has no foundation."
