Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri and Lazio's Edy Reja have echoed each other's views ahead of Tuesday's San Siro showdown.
And the emphasis is to avoid a go-slow in league matters after all the hustle and bustle of the transfer market.
"Lazio are doing great things. They have good individuals and a great squad.
"We have to be tranquil because it is a very important moment for us, and we cannot leave points by the roadside."
A view to which Reja responded with force and effect.
"Milan are the strongest team in the league and if we want a result at the San Siro then we must play with intensity.
"Allegri has many injuries to deal with, but we are short too.
"We must be able to score, or we will head back to Roma with a loss."
