Catania striker Maxi Lopez welcomes interest from Napoli.
Catania striker Maxi Lopez has admitted that while he has not spoken with Napoli, he would welcome a move to the Partenopei.
“I don't know anything about it, but it would make me happy. Napoli are a great team,” the 26-year-old told Radio Kiss Kiss.
Lopez cited linking up with Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani as the main reason he desires a move to Napoli.
“A trident with Cavani and Lavezzi would be a very important step in my career."
“It's an honour to know about [Napoli president] Aurelio De Laurentiis' interest. I hope that we can talk about it in June.”
