Hamburg coach Armin Veh was pleased with his team's performance and fitness in a 1-0 win against Frankfurt.
Hamburg coach Armin Veh hailed his team's resolve and fitness following Friday's 1-0 win against Frankfurt.
"We played patiently and did not give up much in the danger area," he said according to Kicker.
"You can see now that we have more quality on the pitch. We had many injured in the fall campaign, but now are all fit."
Hamburg struggled to create clear-cut chances, but held firm in defence and took three points thanks to Mladen Petric, who finished a classy sequence between Ze Roberto and Anis Ben-Hatira.
