Michael Skibbe was pleased with Frankfurt's ability to hold HSV scoreless for 65 minutes, but was let down by their lack of resilience.
Frankfurt coach Michael Skibbe was pleased by his team's resilient effort in defence, but bemoaned the flatness his players exhibited in attack in Friday's 1-0 loss to Hamburg.

"We held out for a long time, Hamburg did not earn many scoring chances," he said according to Kicker. "But we lacked determination."

Frankfurt held firm for 65 minutes, but were ultimately undone by Mladen Petric's strike on 65 minutes, which turned out to be the winner.

The result was the second loss in as many matches for die Adler, who have struggled to find their form following the winter break.
