Juventus & Alessandro Del Piero In Talks Over Renewal

Alessandro Del Piero and Juventus have opened dialogue over a new deal, but there is distance between both parties over an agreement.
Juventus and Alessandro Del Piero have started talks over an extension, but questions over wages have come to the fore.
Telelombardia and Qsvs.it report Del Piero as having met club president Andrea Agnelli on Wednesday at the club's headquarters in Turin.
Both men spoke informally without agents or other directors present.
Del Piero is eager for new terms as his current deal expires at the end of the season.
But, Juventus are in no mood to accommodate his €3million per annum wage demands. Rather, they have offered him half that amount.
There are also issues as to whether Del Piero will be guaranteed a starting place next season.
