Official: Brescia Sign Striker Jonathas From AZ

Brescia has come to an agreement with Dutch side AZ over striker Jonathas.
Brescia has reached an agreement with AZ Alkmaar over the sale of Brazilian striker Jonathas.

Both teams have revealed via their official websites that the player has moved to the Italian club for an undisclosed fee.

Jonathas moved to the Dutch side in 2009, but chose to play for the youth side in order to adapt to the league and language. He was a success, and earnt a start for the senior side in November 2009.

The hitman had scored four times in 15 matches for the 2008/09 Eredivisie champions before returning to the South American nation, due to personal issues.

He had a deal in place with the Dutch side until 2012, but chose to join the Rondinelle.
