Japan Asian Cup Star Yuto Nagatomo Travelling To Milan To Sign Contract With Inter

Japan international Yuto Nagatomo is set to sign for Inter.
Cesena full-back Yuto Nagatomo is reportedly travelling to Milan in order to sign a contract with Scudetto holders Inter, according to Sky Sport 24.

The source reports that the Japanese Asian Cup winner has been the subject of talks between the two sides since earlier today and will complete the move before the transfer window closes.

Nagatomo moved to Cesena from FC Tokyo on loan last summer and tied up a permanent deal earlier this week.

The left-back has been one of Cesena's absolute key men in the 2010-11 campaign. Nagatomo attracted even more interest with his good performances for Japan at the 2011 Asian Cup and a move to a bigger club now seems to be on the cards.

The imminent arrival of the 24-year-old Nagatomo could mean that promising youngster Davide Santon is on his way out of Inter. The Italy international could join Cesena on a six-month loan deal as part of the deal that will take Nagatomo to Giuseppe Meazza.

Both clubs have yet to comment on the imminent transfer, but an official announcement is expected to be released in the upcoming hours.
