Milan Defender Mario Yepes: We Are A Unified Group In The Dressing Room

Yepes suggests the whole squad will have a say in the club's success in 2010-11.
Milan defender Mario Yepes has claimed that the Rossoneri's title challenge will require commitment from the whole team this season. The defender was one of the standout performers in the 2-0 win over Cesena on Sunday, despite seeing limited playing time this season.

The 35-year-old is likely to see more action in the near future after Alessandro Nesta was ruled out for a month with a dislocated shoulder.

"Those who play a little less need to be ready. Here at Milanello the whole squad is important," he was quoted as saying by Datasport.

"Everyone wants to play, but we can't all play and must be ready when the coach needs us."

Star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic praised the Colombian for his recent efforts and Yepes believes every player must be ready when called upon.

"His words meant so much to me. We are a unified group in the dressing room," suggested the former Chievo and Paris Saint-Germain star.

"After all we need to address three competitions and we cannot only rely on 11 players."
