Arjen Robben and Daniel van Buyten have fallen ill ahead of Bayern Munich's DFB Pokal match with Alemannia Aachen.
German giants Bayern Munich have received some disturbing news ahead of their DFB Pokal clash with Alemannia Aachen.
On Tuesday it was revealed that Arjen Robben and Daniel van Buyten had fallen ill, leaving their availability for Wednesday's match in question. Should they fail to make the Bayern line-up tomorrow, both are still expected to be fit for Saturday's Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen.
On the other hand, Bayern will definitely be without long-term casualty Ivica Olic, as well as Toni Kroos, Franck Ribery and Diego Contento. The latter suffered a stress fracture in his spine last weekend in the Bayern reserves' match against Wacker Burghausen. On the bright side, Ribery could make his return against Bremen.
