Benjamin Koehler has put pen to paper on a contract extension that will see him remain at Frankfurt until 2014.
Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Benjamin Koehler has put pen to paper on a new contract that will see him remain at the Commerzbank-Arena until June 2014.

"I feel comfortable and I am pleased to be able to play here for the next few years and to live in Frankfurt," the 30-year-old Koehler said.

The former Hertha Berlin man is seen as an asset at his club due to his versatility: "Benny is a worthy team player who can be used in all positions," CEO Heribert Bruchhagen told his team's official website.

Since joining Frankfurt in 2004, the left footed Koehler, who can play as a full-back or a winger, has made 180 appearances.
