Luis Fabiano claims that his six-season spell at Sevilla is drawing to a close.
Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano believes his time with the club is drawing to a close, and plans to negotiate a transfer away from the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in the summer.

The Brazilian international has struggled for fitness and consistency in front of goal this season, managing 12 goals in 29 appearances for Los Nervionenses.

The 30-year-old only put pen to paper on a new deal through to 2013 at the end of the summer transfer window, but in an interview with GloboEsporte stated his desire to end his six-season spell in Andalucia.

He is quoted as saying: “I will sit down and talk with the leaders, and see what is best for both parties, because my cycle in Sevilla is over.

“These past months have been difficult, there has been much speculation and injury, and the coach has decided to bench me. I’ve have went four consecutive games without playing, but I have to accept and take every opportunity.”

Clubs from his homeland such as Corinthians and Santos, as well as English Premier League sides Blackburn and Tottenham Hotspur, are likely to be put on alert to the attacker’s availability.
