Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has branded Champions League opponents Arsenal as one of the biggest sides in Europe ahead of their meeting on Wednesday night at the Emirates.
The Blaugrana travel to take on the Gunners having never lost to the north London club on five previous occasions, and knocked them out of the competition at the quarter-final stage last season.
Speaking to the media today, the former goalkeeper however praised the approach of the Premier League outfit, and stated that he was aware of how difficult progression to the next round will be.
“They have an interesting football proposal, and are very offensive," he said. "The atmosphere in London is spectacular. They have very good players, a definitive style, this is a big tie and it has all the ingredients to be an enjoyable evening.
“I do not think more or less of them after last season. Last year I saw it from outside the club, so now my perception has changed. The second leg will be decisive, but we will play 90 minutes tomorrow to try and take the best possible score home.”
