Coach Davide Ballardini urged Genoa to be more hungry when they take on city rivals Sampdoria midweek.
As Genoa played out a disappointing goalless draw against bottom placed Bari this afternoon, Grifoni tactician Davide Ballardini bemoaned his side’s lack of cutting edge in front of goal, citing that as the reason for their failure to secure three points.

“We should have been a little more decisive out there”, he declared to Mediaset Premium.

“This was a game which we could have won.

“Now we must turn our thoughts to the derby with Sampdoria. It will be a much more intense match in comparison to this afternoon’s encounter.
