Leonardo: Inter's Transfer Market Was Good; Now Focus Is On Bari

Inter's Leonardo focused on Bari as Kharja is unveiled to the press.
Leonardo admits he got what he wanted from the January transfer window as he turns Inter attention to Thursday's clash at Bari.

"It's best not to make comparisons because the market is always delicate," he told the press.

"You don't always find what you want, but we were able to with Andrea Ranocchia, Giampaolo Pazzini, Houssine Kharja and Yuto Nagatomo.

"Sometimes people don't recognize the difficulty. It's not always easy making the right transfers."

Milan stalled at home to Lazio on Tuesday - a chance for Inter to close the gap at Bari.

"Bari are a team in construction and they have changed plenty compared to last year," he said.

"This game will be motivating for them, but we cannot think our of league position or theirs.

"We have to be careful. They have two or three players who can give them that push, and so we have to play it right."

Wesley Sneijer is back from injury and available against Bari. Kharja is also in the squad list for the trip south, and he is delighted with the loan deal from Genoa.

"Coming to the champions has made me happy and to play with so many champions is the maximum," Kharja said as he was unveiled.

"When Inter called I didn't think twice and I am very happy to be here.

"I am ambitious and I am here to play for my place.

"I have been involved in Italian football for ten years and I want to give a hand to the team."
