South Africa To Play Kenya In Friendly Rather Than Burkina Faso

Bafana will now play against the Harambee Stars next week, instead of Burkina Faso as originally planned.
The South African Football Association (SAFA) announced that Bafana Bafana will play against Kenya in an international friendly match to be played at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Wednesday, 9 January 2011.

This comes after Burkina Faso pulled out of the fixture, and the statement revealed that the FA acted quickly to secure the match against Kenya.

Bafana Bafana head coach Pitso Mosimane will announce the squad to face Kenya this morning at SAFA House in Nasrec.

The friendly will act as a warm up for the South African national team, as they prepare to face Egypt next month in a crucial 2012 African Nations Cup qualifier.
