Osasuna striker Walter Pandiani claims that Real Madrid attacker Cristiano Ronaldo 'has a screw loose'.
Osasuna striker Walter Pandiani has branded Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo "cocky" and claimed that the Portuguese "has a screw loose".

Both players were involved in an altercation during Los Rojillos’ 1-0 victory at the Reyno de Navarra on Sunday evening, which extended into a confrontation after the final whistle.

The Uruguayan hit-man made his feelings towards the winger perfectly clear during a press conference today, blasting: “What Cristiano should do is learn from Lionel Messi, and leave out this cocky attitude.

“He is the one who creates all problems, every weekend, and should be penalised. He should look to be the best in the world, and see if he is able to learn a little more. He has a screw loose. He has to learn to be more humble.”

Speculation about the heated discussion that was exchanged between the pair on the pitch suggested that Ronaldo has asked Pandiani about his salary, to which the veteran responded that he had won more titles in the game.

He addressed what was said, continuing: “It is quite right, what has been said, happened. When he wins the cup, the Super Cup and the titles I have, then maybe I will listen. In our field we are respected.

“Barcelona, they are a team of people. Madrid footballers do not deserve such treatment, but pay for the follies of others. Madrid is paying for Cristiano’s cocky attitude."
