Stuttgart Coach Bruno Labbadia Pleased With Second Half Turnaround
Posted by admin on Saturday, 5 February 2011
Bruno Labbadia pinpointed the half-time interval and the introduction of Tamas Hajnal as key to the 3-2 win over Borussia Moenchengladbach.
VfB Stuttgart coach Bruno Labbadia hailed the impact of new signing Tamas Hajnal after die Schwaben came back from two goals down to stun fellow relegation battlers Borussia Moenchengladbach.
"We put into practice what we discussed during the half-time break. The change we made at the interval (Tamas Hajnal replaced Cristian Molinaro) proved decisive," Labbadia told Sky after the final whistle.
"We could already see in the first-half that if we play football, we look a stronger side"
After their dramatic comeback, Stuttgart are second from bottom, three points above die Fohlen. Nuernberg make the relatively short trip west to the Mercedes-Benz Arena next weekend.
