Midfielder Cristiano Zanetti leaves Fiorentina after 18 months to join Brescia.
Brescia have announced the arrival of Cristiano Zanetti from Fiorentina.
The 33-year-old midfielder heads to Lombardy, having left the Tuscan side he joined from Juventus in 2009.
After a solid campaign last season, Zanetti has only forced six apperances under Sinisa Mihajlovic, leaving him to seek regular action with the Rondinelle.
A statement on Fiorentina's official website reads:
"ACF Fiorentina communicates to have transferred Cristiano Zanetti on a permanent basis to Brescia Calcio.
"We want to thank Cristiano for the effort and professionalism he has shown in Florence and we wish him all the best."
Brescia also confirmed the move on their site with a note reading:
"Brescia Calcio communicates to have acquired Cristiano Zanetti from AC Fiorentina. The midfielder has signed a two-year deal."
